...price no object. What spa would you get - and would it be different than the one you currently own?

Sundance Maxxus/Optima
Hotspring Vista/Grandee

HS or Jacuzzi. Never tested the D1 so no opinion, did not like the Sundance.

You know my reply for me I would take the J-470 I really wouldnt need the J- 480

Second choice would be the Sundance but not sure which model.

Vista or Grandee.....however the 400 Jacuzzi would be interesting.....all depending on cost too. I wouldn't buy the Jacuzzi if it was any more than the HS..

Currently own Tiger River Bengal....(HS Sister product)

If price was no object ...

D1 bay series, Artesian Piper Glen and the Master Spas looked great. I didn't get a chance to see a Marquis or the Jacuzzi 400 series, maybe they would be on the list too.

Unfortunately, price was a object and I bought an Artesian Cayman.

At this point, I would buy the 2007 Jacuzzi 480/470. The new model will be awesome with the lighted cup holders and IPod .

You're obviously going to get a variety of answers that show that there are people happy with all the options you've mentioned (as well as a few you didn't list). This is not a surprise since you've listed some of the top premium spas on the market.

With $ no object and assuming that none of the dealers disqualify themselves (you do want to feel comfrortable that they'll be there after the sale), I'd wet test them (at least one of teh two for each brand). That should narrow it down further by giving you an idea of how the jets and seats feel. If there is still a tie then go with whichever your gut tells you.

Wahtever you do, do NOT buy a MasterSpa. The Management there is simply out to get every penny they can out of the consumer (even if their product is not really WORTH it). They try gimicks that often fail the first time. Most of the MS dealers I've spoken too slam the competition openly. The owner of Master personally told me... "I could sell it cheaper but why should I, don't you want to get as much cash as possible from those who have the means to spend it freely". In short, the attitude @ Master SUCKS from the top it all flows down. BTW - I am not a dealer. I am an individual and this is my personaly opinion based on personal experiences. Take it for what it's worth.

I am a Jacuzzi 370 owner and think the newer 400-series 475 would be nice bt would also consider the Dimension One.

While I agree with the good Doctor that Nespa can create a wonderful custom design - and their brochure photos are top notch:

I would have to choose a new (HotSpring) Aria,

overlooking a beach on Maui.

With a helipad.

And a jet waiting at the airport on Oahu in case I ever want to hop over to the mainland.
