I think they look cool.  Those who are wondering about feet, look closer.  Each seat has a place for the feet - even the middle seats.

That's the wave of the future for movie theatres....stadium seated hot tubs.....  :-/ Interesting concept, but I kinda like the larger footwell area and the "conversation" style seating better. Although, if you're next to someone with chronic halitosis, this might be good....they wouldn't be facing you and breathing their funk in your face....
