Are the premium, super sturdy Hot Spring steps made of real wood?

They are made of Everwood, the same material as the cabinet.  It is a blend of redwood fibers and polymers.  Extremely thick, sturdy, heavy, and durable.  Best of all...no splinters. :)

Don't forget, no sanding or re-staining either.   Mine look as good today as they did when I first got them.
