Where is the compartment that holds the bromine tablets in the Optima? I can't seem to locate it?

I don't think there is one. You have to buy what's called a bromine floater/feeder that sits in the water.

I thought that sundance does have a built in bromine dispenser in the filter chamber somewhere. I remember that being a selling feature.

I stand corrected. They do have one. I just got off their website and wasn't able to find a pic.
Styx, do you have an owners manual? If so I would think it would have some info on it.

In the filter wier gate (the part that floats up and down with the water level), you will see a little grate on the top of it. �That opens to a small compartment in the weir gate itself. �This brominator will take bromine pucks or the SunPurity mineral cartridge.

No- At least the one on my 2003 Optima doesn't.
I think you just put in whatever amount of tablets keeps your bromine reading in range.

it took me awhile to dail it in.

I know what you mean. When I used bromine it was in an adjustable floater, and I never did figure out the right setting. Too high one week, not high enough the next.

how is bromine working for you? Last tub, I used bromine for 8 months or so, with so so results. Switched to chlorine and water was much better.

I wet tested an Optima yesterday and the compartment was placed on the door with the filter. A little pop open area on the door I think. Hey how do you like your Optima and why did you choose it. Please let me know...thx email: dfindlay@rideuta.com
