Sabath starts on Friday at  sundown.

Sunday is not the Sabbath.  It is  "the Lords day".

It was first put into practice by the Laodicean Council, to seperate the Christrians from Judaism.
The Roman emperor  Constince the Great, also declared  to rest on the Day of the Sun.

I've never heard it explained like that before. But then again I'm Catholic and how they explained it to me in school is all I know.
The Bible leads us to believe the seventh day of the week (Saturday) is the Sabbath according to the Old Testament. New Testament however gives the impression that it's Sunday.

I'm sure Term will apologize for the distress his comment has caused. He and I have had this conversation in a post probably a year ago now and I'll reitterate it here. If you absolutly have to buy a hot tub on Sunday, then I guess you will not be buying one from me. I certainly am not going to loose sleep, food or house over the loss of a couple of Sunday spa sales. With that in mind the owner of the company I now work for has requested that I work on Sundays. After discussing it with my Catholic spiritual advisor, I was guided to use this Sunday work time as a pennance. Great! 5 Our Fathers 10 Hail Marys AND work on Sunday  ;)
