My PH and ALK are usually pretty stable, but my understanding is not to expect them to react to chemicals very quickly (unlike dichlor) and give them say 24 hours before retesting or readjusting.

BTW, where are pics?

Oh yeah, :-? Sorry,I forgot to mention that I wasn't able to get a camera today.

Too busy. I'll buy one soon and get some pics posted for everyone. I might wait until everything is completed back there but knowing me I'll never stop adding little touches to my patio. So I guess I'll just start postin' and keep updating as things get done.

Test and adjust total alkalinity 1st. Should take about 30 minutes to adjust.

this is funny.
my first 50 teststrips lasted a week.
my wife was mad at me because i spend so much time with the tub.
i also found it good that you where honest with your dry tests.
i would have slept in that thing

or gonna love it I come home every night around 10:30 couple beers then soak man u sure lose track of time,nuthin but wonderful.
