It's nice to start worrying about something else. :)

How long does spa down keep working after each dose? For that matter, how long for all alkalinty, calcium, and ph products by Leisure Time.

they do not keep working. they adjust the level according to your added dose.

Bather load then takes and screws it up. Oh, and the rain water that makes it through your cover seam. :)

I would suggest you get a Taylor full spa test kit.  Then check your tap water so you understand your normal water chemistry.  I have discovered that by maintaining a 7.5 PH level and a low 1.5 PPM Bromine level then all other chem levels fall into the norm.  After playing with water chemistry on my tub for the first 3 months and coming from a history of taking care of a pool I think I have the whole "water chemistry" thing figured out.  It is simply as hard or as easy as one wants to make it.  There are people on this forum though that are literal water chemistry wizards and I am sure you wil et your answer.
