Store chems outside in the cold?

I'd like to keep my chemicals in an outdoor cabinet, but here in CO it obviously gets pretty cold from time to time.  Does that negatively affect the chems at all?  I'd really hate to have to leave them in the house and then have to run in and out after soaking to put in my dichlor...

As long as the chemicals don't freeze I don't see what the harm would be unless any specific chemical has a warning about that on the container.
 I can't see how dichlor would be harmed, anyway.

I doubt freezing would hurt powdered chemicals.

According to BioLab (makers or Spa Guard and Bio Guard chems), granular chems should be fine, but if the liquids freeze, they are much less effective, if even at all.

I only know this because I had some of our stock freeze in a warehouse a few years back and had to call them about it.

That and if any of the liquids contain water, the containers could burst if the contents freeze.

I personally would keep mine indoors, just to be safe. My uncle has had 3 pools and built his last one by himself. It's a 20'x40' vinyl lined inground pool. He has over 30 years experience w/ water chemistry and advised me to always keep chems inside as we live in St. Louis.

i leave mine in the garage, powder products only.  I use bromine and have no need for liquid.
