Cant wait 6 months!!!

 I wish I only had to wait a couple weeks to get my spa. It will be at least 6 months until I could get mine. I just put in a pool and deck in my backyard(did the work myself and will not have the money for the spa until April ( work bonus)

Here are some pic's I just have to figure out how I want to set up my spa but since I have 6 months I guess I have some time.

Holy cow! That's quite the deck project.  Congrats!

What brand of pool did you get? I thought most ovals needed buttresses on the sides? (or is it strapped underneath?)

I like the deck. Nice touches. Did you use PT for the deck, or a trex-like product?

Really nice.  And here I thought I had it bad when it came time for re-staining!

You really don't have to wait until April.  How about those 0% financing deals for 12 months???  

Remember the winter is the BEST time for a spa!

BTW I bought my Caldera from Desmond Pools in Easton.  Did you see the Aspire there?  They are having AWESOME deals on wet models you might want to look again if you haven't been there in a while!

The framing is PT but the deck material is Portico(simular to Trex but cheaper) No staining for me except for the railings. Will paint them next year

I can not remember the brand of pool(bought it last October on a clearance sale, put up in April) It is a buttresless - straped underneath.


 Desmond Pools is where I went also. They do have great deals on the wet models but I did not care for the colors(spa and cabinet)

I know they have the 0% financing but I do not have the money to build the deck that will support it. This project cost a little more then I expected and I am low in funds.

My wife tells me I have Deck envey and have to have the biggest deck on the block.  LOL

I am not a carpenter, I quess you can say it is a hobby. I  have a friend who use to build decks. He just told me what needed to be done. Saved myself a lot of $$$$$$$$ doing it myself. It took longer but the satifaction of knowing I built it feel real good. Now I have to design a deck to put the spa on. I have a couple of ideas on how to do it but will need to draw them up to see what I like better.

Beautiful deck!!! I must say tho, that I have always found that it's the little extras you do with the deck, not the size of it, that makes for a good deck.
