      That is too bad hottbpete.  I had a pad poured by a contractor too.  Everything turned out ok but I had to keep one eye on the project the whole time.  Shimming is not an option for you since you own one of the bigger tubs. The Caldera Geneva, Hot Springs Grandee, or HS Vista can't be shimmed either.  Looks like new pad time unless the contractor can figure something else out to your satisfaction.  Good Luck!

HS Grandee is not suppose to be shimmed.

You are correct. That's due to the size of the tub.

good info everybody....the contractor said he would grind down the crown.  If it happens in the next few days...then no harm no foul.  y wife thinks it will be weeks.
I say the squeeky wheel......so hw will be getting daily calls from me

Don't shim Caldera.

Also, as was stated, HS does not recommend shimming the Vista or Grandee. I have put shims under one or two corners for better support when the slab was uneven due to small low spots.

I would let the contractor fix the slab if it can happen. Sorry to hear about the delay and hassles.

The contractor came back on SUNDAY Morning and chiseld out the crown. No more rocking.   Just spoke to the Electricain, he will be there tomorrow at 7 am.  Could be soaking by tomorrow night!!
