Must have been after a good Italian dinner, Vinny...Pasta always makes me want to snooze.

My hubby took a short nap one night, but I always check on him when he goes out by himself...It probably isn't a good idea to fall asleep in the tub.

I can eat a ton of macaroni (that's what I grew up calling pasta - LOL!!!), I LOVE it!! AND I look like I eat a ton of macaroni!!!

I'm an early bird ... I'm asleep by 10 PM EDT so I try to soak by 8:30. It's funny, usually getting in the tub wakes me up, I'll stay up for a couple of hours after getting out. I read about how people feel sleepy, not me. It would be nice if it did, I could use it more, later than I do so that I can go to sleep when I get out.

This one time I was in it and it was so soothing that I found myself drifting off ... I pulled myself out and went to bed.

since the nights are getting cooler here on long island, i am enjoying the hot tub much more, and do find myself dozing off once in a while....i keep thinking about the story someone posted here about a woman finding her husband dead in the hot tub...so before i go in i hide the vegetables!!   :o

No--After I relax for about 5 minutes and let my muscles heat up, I do my neck/shoulder exercises.

I am truly reaping the benefits of hydrotherapy and killing 3 birds with one stone!

1.  relaxation
2.  hydrotherapy (flushing waste out of muscles)
3.  necessary exercises (physical therapy)in a fantastic environment!

I often start to drift off if I get in really late at night after a long day.....once I think I was asleep for about 10min, and I almost jumped out of my skin when the heater clicked on and water tickled my feet. What is this abut someone dying, though? Seems like the worst that could happen would be a nasty noseful of water, a whole lot of coughing and a nasty wake up, unless you were really drunk, or somehow hit your head HARD falling asleep.

Frequently!!  And I used to have a large whirlpool tub in my bathroom in my previous home which I filled 3 or 4 times a week (even though I had the spa on the deck outside and used it every day) and I almost always fell asleep in that too!!
