The stars were bright last night....
« on: September 15, 2006, 11:42:24 am »
As I sat soaking in the hot tub last night admiring how bright the stars were, my DW asked me what I was thinking about. I replied that the stars looked in the proper alignment for an Irish victory over Michigan this weekend, a Vol win over Florida on Saturday evening and lastly me breaking 80 on the golf course Sunday afternoon. Her reply...."well two out of three look good but there's no way you're breaking 80!"

Probably right but I'll settle for Irish and Vol victories!! ;)

I'm usually thinking about Boobies, batman or beer. Sometimes all three.

I would have wanted to hear "I'm thinking about how romantic this is.  How much I love you and wish I could just reach out capture one of those stars for you and make your every wish come true!"........something along those lines is probably what she was WISHING she was hearing, although I'm guessing she wasn't surprised by all the sports.  Next time........surprise her with a different reply.  It'll get you some points.

I deserved that response!!

Hats off to the Wolverines as they kicked our Irish tails all over the field!!

And for the record, with the Vols losing to Florida on Saturday night and me not coming close to breaking 80 on Sunday, well 0-3 put a damper on the weekend for sure. :'(

Since I live in Oregon, I can't say much about the stars ;) But the clouds were aligned perfectly for the University of Oregon.  How 'bout them DUCKs?  Looks like they made the Sooners look more like "Laters".

And. . . Go Cougs!  Washington State University stomps Baylor! Wazzu, yeah!

:'( :'(I'm so sick of hearing the Sooner fans around here whining!!  And now wanting the game nullified!!  Geez!!!!!

And Bill, the Longhorns had no trouble stomping the Owls!!!  Of course, when they play Rice, it never is much of a competition!!!!
