My dream tub (if only someone would build it!!!)
« on: September 13, 2006, 05:11:39 pm »
After looking around and researching so much we bought the tub we feel would be the best compromise for us.  Got me thinking though... what if I didn't have to compromise?  In that case here's what I'd want:

- Start with a Sundance Cameo layout/filtration/waterfall
- Add the foot dome from the Optima, but make the jets bigger (almost like whirlpool jets -- those feel best on my feet)
- Make it an efficient thermopane (along the lines of Arctic) instead of full foam, simply for ease of maintenance
- Give the two main massage chairs their own 2-speed pumps (a la Artesian Piper Glen), and also give the foot dome it's own pump as well so everything can be turned on/off independently
- Sell it for $5000 :D

What would you all want?

I'm sure that the dream tub is out there somewhere... but more than likely would not be for 5K.

My dream tub? Good question. I'd say the "Orlando" is the closest thing... (and no, I'm not trying to sell any spas... it's just my favorite so far). But to make it even dreamier... a few "spa men" to help out would be cool. You know... the fan, the chilled seedless purple grapes, someone to be at my beck and call.... ahhh! Bliss!
Oh, and all that for $1.50 financed same as cash for 5 years with no payments or interest attatched.

Sah-weeeet! ;D
The best intention pales in comparison to the smallest good deed.

pg,

I normally don't do this but the tub you described is VERY much like my MasterSpas LSX and my story is very much like yours.  I tried my best to buy a Cameo from a local dealer but he ended up being someone with whom I didn't want to do business.  I eventually decided upon the LSX and I'm extremely glad that it turned out to be my tub of choice.  Sorry, though, you'll need a few more bucks than $5K.  I suggest you wet test it and see for yourself.  Once again, I am only posting this because I see the parallels and feel it would be worth your while to at least wet test it.

LOL.

Thermopane so the spa is easier to maintain?   A properly built spa should NEVER need maintenance under the cabinet.

Terminator  Where do i get that spa you showed? Looks like a seamonkey  special from the mall spa tent sale. Lmao..........

But seriously my dream spa would be larger than the present bengal i have and have a water feature more in the lines of, a large waterfall that you could sit under and have it stream down on you back and shoulders. i know water falls do exist  but not large ones.

My second feature i would like to have is a hand held massage jet tha you could aim anywhere on your sore body for a custom massage. maybe a jet wand on a flexibale hose type set up.

Chas, Term,

Do the TIger River tubs use Waterway jets? Can you take a look at this link and tell us if it would be compatable with a Bengal?

Not to push the product on you T6tex, just more for the sake of knowing. :)
