CLR system flush
« on: September 06, 2006, 09:08:10 pm »
Has anyone ever used the cleaning product CLR (Calcium, Lime, Rust) to clean the sysem on a spa when draining it? I plan on draining my tub within the next month and would like to use a good product to clean my insides. This product was recommended to me by someone, but I'm a little leary of using a household product.

Go to your local dealer and pick up some pipe cleaning solution made for your tub.  Some of the names are Swirl away, deep clean, Tub clean........   I ve seen CLR  eat certain plastics

I'd stick with a spa product too- make sure you follow the directions, especially in regards to removing filters.
