Cost being equal, which one of these three tubs would you guys recommend?  J-355 vs. Bahia vs. Caspian?  what would be a good price for these?  thanks.

I'm not too familliar with the J-355,    but The Baha and the Caspain are very similliary priced.

I'd wet test all three of them and go from there.  ;)

I'd recommend the Bahia or Caspian over the J-355, but all are good tubs.  What kind of prices have you been given on them?

I can get in my car right now and drive 2 hours from here and pick between a few different 06 Artesian Island series tubs, loaded, for $5100-$5900.

So I'm going to say $6000 for the Bahia is a fair price.

been quoted as follows:
-all include lifter, cover, setup, ozone, steps
Caspian- $7150 inclusive of taxes
Bahia- $7200 excluding taxes
J-355- $6600 excluding taxes
What do you guys think?

When you do it will be OBVIOUS which tub is the roomier and more powerful option.

The price for the Bahia is right where
people are buying them here.
As long as you are getting the cover,
delivery, and a chemical start-kit
along with your sales tax.

Pretty good price on the Caspian, can't speak to the Bahia or J-355 pricing.  As recommended, wet test, compare which dealer you are most comfortable with, and go from there.  Based on the close proximity of the prices, I wouldn't feel negligent telling you to go with any of them.  Compare the lifters.  Make sure that the lifter you are getting is of good quality.  CoverMates are good lifters, but check with your Tiger River dealer to see if they're including a Watkins lift that uses the aluminum channels for lifting rather than the seams.

Again, all are good values.

Sledjunkie will tell you over and over that you need to buy something else because he can't stand it when people are happy with something he wouldn't pay reasonably for.  If you don't buy a tub from any of the big manufacturers at over $1000 off list price he'll tell you to keep looking.
