We usually get to see the new spas around January and start receiving them towards the end of February.  The bigger dealers start getting theirs in January.

Thanks!
Not like the car dealers who get their new models six months before New Years.

Do they leak any information about new models and upgrades before hand?

Yes, but they're easy to repair if you don't have to dig through foam......rimshot!!!!

I disavow any knowledge pertaining to next years' models. :D

Depending on the company  techs  will usually find out about whats new for the upcoming year  at the year end tech seminars  around Nov   but usually stayed tight lipped so it doesnt affect the year end sales for the current year :-X

With a lot of companies, they have the new model changes in December and January, but sometimes will make midyear changes to the line to spice things up.

Last year was the introduction of two Moto-Massage DX jets in the Grandee.  This year they added a water feature to the Tiger River Bengal.

The mid-year changes are generally pretty well-known by the time they happen, but the new model year stuff is hard to get info on, and it ruins the surprise.

Well I guess we don't want to ruin the surprise. That would be like peaking at Christmas presents on the 24th.

To get a good deal on the 2006s, using the new models coming in as a bargaining chip, when would be the best time to buy?

Just because the new models are coming in doesn't mean you'll get a much better price on the current year.  The best time to buy a hot tub is when you want one.   Some dealer will put small discounts in December or January, but they still have cost into the spa, so you wont' see to much discount.
