This is the error message I receive when I try to send a PM.

An Error Has Occurred!

104 An Error Has Occurred!: Unable to open 134.txt

Sent you a PM as a test.

Anyone else having problems with PMs?

I am, I haven't read through all the other post yet, but I'm not seeing all of the message in the PMs sent to me. However, if I hit the QUOTE button to reply, then I see the entire message.

Up at the top of the page where it says;

"Hey, Dr. Spa, you have 9 messages, 0 are new."

The color of the text for "9 messages" is almost exactly the same color as the background.

If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals

OK, it's working now. It was down for the last week.

Thanks

We messed with this a bunch and discovered that this is a browser issue.  Most browsers deal with it fine.  Sorry for the trouble.

The new software still makes me look fat in my pictures.  Put some of that Paula Abdul slimmerizing compression software, please.

I also get the error message when I try to respond to a PM.  Happened again a few minutes ago.

Do a search for a set of posts...click on the topic link in one of the posts in order to read the entire topic...finish reading the topic and hit the back button to see the search results once again (which was able to be done on the previous software) and...page expired...very inconvenient.

I have this same problem and have to keep re-doing my searches after entering a thread and reading the information I was looking for and trying to click back to the search results.

Don't know why but now I cannot replicate the problem as Bill couldn't earlier....it seems to be working fine for me now.
