Dimension One "Sarena bay"
« on: August 10, 2006, 11:40:12 am »
I'm trying to trackdown, if any changes were made to Sarena bay models between 2004 to present?

Local dealer has a later 2004 model sitting on floor and i'm thinking about buying this floor model.  Are there any pros and cons about purchasing an older model?  Floor model, still has stickers and was never filled with water.

thanks

An '04 still on the floor without ever being used is a bit of a surprise, but believeable. I'd not only look to find out any changes since '04 but also find out what a new one sells for (at that dealer, it varies by region and you should be able to ask to see a recent invoice). If you are ready to buy it, you could ask that they fill it so you can test it; they may balk at the idea but they also want to move this and IF you get to the point where you are sure you want it I'd even offer a deposit to test it on their floor as a final check that all is well and that it fits/feels right. Also, if you do buy I'd make sure they state on your invoice that the warranty is full and starts upon delivery.

I'll bringup the wet test option and see what happens.   The new 06 model I can get for 12,800,  but will try to get it lower :)

I stated the invoice and warranty already, i would love to confirm with D1 themselves as well.  I can't seem to locate a phone number for D1, every link I find refers me to dealerships.

Does anyone have the D1 customer service number?

Have you asked the dealer? Does he/she seem trustworthy? That's where I would start.

I want to get in the spa business so I can surf the internet and use Photoshop all day long.
