What's a good price on a HS Accolade
« on: August 04, 2006, 08:57:13 am »
I have added one more option to my hot tub selection process.  What would be a "fair" price for the HS Accolade?  I live in Wichita, Kansas and we only have
one dealer nearby that carries HS.

One other question that keeps me up at night trying to make this decision.
If I go with the Artesian vs the HS I have to use a dealer who just opened his shop about 6 months ago.  I have really enjoyed working with him and he has been very helpful.  What happens if he folds up 6 months after I buy a spa from him?  My next closest Artesian dealer is 4 hours away.  Should I factor that into my decision?   My HS dealer has been in business forever (although I really hate dealing with them as they are pushy and don't listen to what I want) and is the major player for Pools and spas in town.

The Accolade should be around the low sevens.

If your dealer folds, the factory should hire a local repairman, or send the distant dealer to take care of you.

If the market is good enough, the dealer will be replaced, but if the guy went out because the market is slow - well....
