Please allow me to introduce myself
« on: July 16, 2006, 10:35:21 am »
Hello all, brand new member here.
Been in the pool spa business for 13 yrs in the Philadelphia area.
I currently sell Materspas(Yes the much maligned) and Vita/Reflections.
Over the years I have sold Hot Springs, Catalina, Hawkeye, and Leisure Bay.
I really enjoy the information exchange here and wanted to throw my hat in the ring.
I hope I can provide some insight to anyone who seeks it regarding our lines.
Thanks for having me.

Welcome,  I don't view Master Spas themselves as being maligned, here or other places on the internet.  What is maligned is rebates that most who have encountered would call scams, and traveling shows with blatently false advertising.    Are you involved in any way with either of those? Here in my home of central Ohio, I have not seen the former, but did get a good view of the latter.

So you know where I am coming from, I'm the moderator here. I work hard to be impartial.  When I first started shopping 4 years ago, Master was probably 2nd on my list.  Lack of follow up  from the local dealer maybe the biggest factor in my not owning one today.

My company dosent sell the voucher gimmick, nor do we do the traveling circus act.
We are a 3 location retailer in business for 49 years.
We try our best to sell with honesty and ethics.

Welcome.  Glad to have some Master representation here.  Hope you have thick skin... you will occasionally need it   ;D BUT I think the majority will appreciate having you here as I'm pretty sure you are the only Master dealer on the site.

What's your favorite Master model? Do you have one in your own back yard? Welcome to the forum.
2005 Hot Spring Envoy still going strong. Million-Mile Club....

I want to get in the spa business so I can surf the internet and use Photoshop all day long.

"Bruce Dickinson: I'll be honest.. fellas, it was sounding great. But.. I could've used a little more cowbell. So.. let's take it again.. and, Gene.

Gene Frenkle: Yeah?

Bruce Dickinson: Really explore the studio space this time. I mean, really.. explore the space. I like what I'm hearing."

Christopher Walken made that skit work!
One of the best sketches from that era of SNL, I think.

I also loved the "Celebrity Jeapordy" skits, with Will F. as Alex Trebek.   That Sean Connery character was funny!

Gomboman, my favorite Masterspa model is probably the Lsx1050. I recently moved and left behind a Hot Springs Highlife from back in the days we were a Hot Springs dealer and currently have no spa in the back yard. I have 1 yr old twin girls, so getting a new spa has not made it to the top of the list yet.
Thanks everyone for all the welcomes.
Love the cowbell stuff!

I'm not much of a cowbell/SNL fan, but I do recognize a Rolling Stone lyric 'Please allow me to introduce myself'.

Welcome to the forum.
