Just a follow-up on insurance:

I have Geico Homeowners in a hurricane zone only because I've been with them 20+ years, so I don't know if this is similar for other policies.

My added "umbrella" policy costs $87 a year and raises my coverage to $1,000,000 against "any civil suit against the policy holder, regardless of reason." The insurance company provides the lawyer, I don't even have to use my own.  Kinda hard to beat, huh?

Drewski...

P.S., now that you know my policy, don't even think about coming over.... ;)

$87?

Wow I think my agent quoted
me $230 a year for the umbrella
that is an umbrella for everything
tub or anything.

I would do it if it was only $87!

I just said a prayer for the youngster and the family. With two small ones at home and one on the way, it's frightening to begin to comprehend a loss of that magnitude.
