No Privacy from the Police
« on: June 05, 2006, 10:59:04 pm »
Beautiful night tonight, no kid at home so we decided to go for an aunatural soak tonight. The neighbors seem to be in bed so even with a first quarter moon, we felt like we had privacy and were relaxing. Until, out of nowhere a police helicopter with its spotlight blaring goes right overhead. He starts circling about a block over.  Thoughts are, do we get out and get in the house, or just stay where we are. I didn't want some criminal to come running into our yard with cops and helicopter in tow.  I thought maybe Lt Dan just wanted to see my wife naked, but I don't know if Gahanna has a helicopter.   I live in a part of Columbus I call New Mexico so I thought it might be the INS.  I'm staying up to see if the news tells me what happened.

This brings back fond memories of Drewski getting locked out of his house while soaking in the buff.......maybe the 'copter cops just read that sent a squad car to your house to "lock up" for you..... ::)
We, the unwilling, led by the unqualified, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful...

Lets not leave out the "Bubba" character- beer gut hanging over, no shirt, cigarette in one hand, and ever present beer in the other.  Wouldn't be COPS without the Bubba.

Cloudy water has it's advantages.
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals

No doubt.  I hope the water was a bit murky.
