I think that something is being overlooked - Bosco did talk to a doctor and got advice.
Bath water may be hotter than tub water and not all parents use a thermometer to test the water in a bath tub. My kids used to lie down in the tub pretty much covering their entire bodies with water. If the water was higher than 102º - I didn't know; I do know that the mirror in the bathroom was always steamed up.
Yes, a tub can be dangerous to young children and not all people use common sense but I don't think this is the case with Bosco ... and besides ANYONE who takes any medical advice from a hot tub forum is NOT using common sense.
