Finding '05 spas
« on: May 29, 2006, 01:02:16 am »
Anybody have suggestions for finding 2005 models instead of paying $2,000+ more for the current models? Seems like a good way to save some money and still get a new spa with warrantee.

I am looking at the SD Altamar and the HS Envoy. The dealers have these at a similar price $8,500 to $8,900. Comparison comments are welcome and appreciated.

If anyone has a reference for a dealer that STILL has 2005's, I'm in Southern California. That might not make a difference since they seem to ship them long distances.

Many thanks in advance.

What part of Socal?
2005 Hot Spring Envoy still going strong. Million-Mile Club....

I want to get in the spa business so I can surf the internet and use Photoshop all day long.

I think both the Sundance and Caldera dealer had 05's available in Rancho Cucamonga about 2 weeks ago.  It may have just been one of them and not the other, I can't remember for sure.

We bought our '05 Envoy in February of this year.  No buyer's remorse whatsoever.  My dealer REALLY wanted to move his '05's...I'm glad we popped in the store when we did.  Unless there is something on the '06's that you think you can't live without and would never be satisfied not having it, I see nothing wrong with going with last year's model.  It's still a brand new tub ;D.  We've been thrilled with ours.

I would think that it would be difficult to find 05's this late in the '06 year.

Good luck in your search.
