My tub is old and every time I change the water, after a few days a silty residue begins to accumulate at the bottom. I think that it comes from several vertical hairline cracks in the hot tub around the sides. Am I right about this? What can I do about it, if anything? Is it time for a new tub or is there some kind of sealant available?
