Excellent.
Are you going to try to get in at midnight, or wait until 8AM?

Congratulations!

Do yourself a favor and try not to keep running out there to check the thermometer.  It'll only make it worse.

Ha That is funny, I'm sure I'll be doing just that.

I think we'll be in for a morning dip. At 60A, and 60-65 degree tap water, how long will it take?

The tub guy isn't here yet.

BK when we got our spa, of course we were as excited as you are... I have two teenagers who thought the tub was just awsome and we got ours when it was about 10 degrees out...The morning after we filled it, I called them to get up for school...no answer..called again...no answer...when my husband and I finally found them, they were in the tub enjoying an early morning soak...at 5:45am , before school. And the good part is that they are still loving it...

It's a long story.

The spa guy showed up at 930pm. By midnight we were in operation. 55 degrees, all looked good.

At 830 I went out to check and found it at 92. I pushed a bunch of buttons to see which ones did what.

At 930 I went back out and found it still at 92. I finally figured out that I had pushed a button to the heater and shut it off.

The spa people came back at 1030 and we were up to 98 or so. They balanced the water etc. and it didn't take long for our relatives to show up; for my daughter's dance recital!

We're at a solid 104 right now. One more recital performance and we'll be in tonight. The girls put their feet in. ;D

Eeuw. Water problems. Not as bad as Tatoo or Karl, but along those lines.

Metal Gon plus filter rinses seem to be helping. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get ahead of it.

Congrats!
Please keep us posted with your thoughts on the tub. The Optima is one of the choices I'm leaning towards.

Seemed much better this morning. Couldn't make it home at noon to check again. Ihave concluded that i'm going to use the FreshStart system to keep that stuff from ever getting in there rather than put it in and try to get it back out.

We have bad water here, full of manganese and some iron too.
