Hired Spa Maintenance?

I have ran into an unexpected problem. The company that use to maintain the spas at my two cabin rental units has quit and left me high and dry so to speak.

At one cabin I have a D1 Sarena Bay and the other cabin I have a Marquis Epic.

What are my chances that either a D1 or Marquis dealer would take over maintenance for both of these units?

If the chance is slim to none, I quess I will have to sell one or the other so I can have two of the same name brand.

Have you asked those dealers?  That's how I'd start.
Then go from there.

Try a pool maintenance company. In Arizona these companies maintain both pools & spas.

What exactly do you mean by "maintaining" them?  

Do you pay them?

I'd say you'll have good luck if you call the other company and ask that they "maintain" both tubs.   Who wouldn't want another customer?

By maintaining them, I mean someone to take total care of them. I live 400 miles from the cabins and need someone to do the regular upkeep on them.

The last company charged me $200 a month for both spas. I guess I will just place this burden on my rental management company, it will cost me more. I pay them an extra $400 a month for the swimming pool upkeep already. Maybe they will give me a break.

I have not had much luck here in Dallas.

Several pool maintenance companies have all said "no thanks".

Usually they all say ..."well it's so easy you dont need someone".

Well fine but from my perspective thats why I
work seven days a week....If possible I would
prefer not to fool with it.

I am color blind so I can't read the testers.

I am at work 7 days a week and would just
prefer to have a worry free, vacuumed, perfectly
clean, perfect PH & Chemical tub to jump in after
a long day.

It's not the end of the world...so for now I will do it.

Sadly no. Both are rented out for 95% of the next 18 months. But I'll take the rent any day over them sitting around empty.



I did get a call back from my rental management company, and threw it their way. They said they think the people who do the swimming pools could do the spas as well.

In Breckenridge, CO my charge per month for weekly maintenance is between $90-$120 baised on different options.

In Dallas my coworker has his pool chemicals done
for $40 a month by some immigrant.

I guess I was dreaming to think I could get
chemicals and minor vacuuming done on my spa
a couple times a month for like $100.

I'd be more than happy to do it for you. 100% dedicated service. Fly me down, put me up...forever...feed me, and a modest monthly income. I can fix doors and windows, mow grass, rake leaves, fix the faucet, even re-roof the whole thing if you'd like.

Huh.  I'd think 1/2 hour of unskilled labor could be gotten for that price.   So a month it would be about $120 a month with weekly visits.  I would assume the price would drop if there were several tubs in the area.

I'm always leary of paid chemical maintenance.  I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to adding chems and how much time to wait in between.  If you're water is out of whack, technically speaking someone could be there for the better part of a day to properly add the chems for you.  How can they do that and still make money?
