OK I screwed up...
« on: April 14, 2006, 08:03:26 pm »
Had a brain far* and installed my ozonator on the wrong line. Apparently it should be on a circulation line (on when filtering). Since my tub has two pumps I naturally got the wrong hose. Anyway is it better to tap into a air line or water line? Is one more efficient than another? I found the lowest jets in the tub that come on during filtering but they really don't let any air in during filtering speed.

one is not better than the other. If your ozone did not come with a venturi, then tap in to the air line up near or above the water line. jets low in the spa have more water pressure on then than higher jets, so they tend not to pull air in on low speed due to low water volume.
Best is get a venturi if you don't have one and tap into water line. Consult with the spa manufacturer or dealer first, then go to the ozone people. good luck
