Snowbird, silly question, but ummm.....what happens if/when you ever decide you want to lose the tub? 8' tub, 6' door......?
Yes, it is a very good question.. with a longish answer.
But the short version is that this is our retirement home. Neither of us plans on working beyond 2009 (March for me, May for my wife).
At that time we will be snowbirds (now you know why) living in Pittsburgh May thru mid October and in Vero Beach mid-October thru April.
If all goes according to plan, my heirs will have to solve the tub removal problem. If it doesn't go according to plan, then I will just have to cut a bigger hole in the wall.
