Anyone heard of "Dimension One Spas"
« on: April 06, 2006, 04:20:53 pm »
I relunctantly went by the local Hot Spring dealer today.
Nothing against the tubs, just have heard negative comments about the dealer.  Anyway... they carry DIMENSION ONE SPAS.  This is one good looking spa!
They have an adjustable pillow and neck jet system to customize for different ht's.  I was curious if anyone here has any knowledge of this company or their spas?

Very well know spa.  I believe it is one of the popular ones.

This is a real common topic here. Search the Archives, use terms D1, dimension. There is ALOT.

From what I've seen from the fine folks on this forum, and my own research, D1 is a top line hot tub.

Be careful! If the dealer is as bad as you've heard, perhaps you should look at other dealers that carry the same or comparable tubs.

How do these tubs compare with Hot Spring and Sundance?

D-1 has a great reputation within the industry.

Dimension-1 is a top of the line spa, too. I would have purchased a Chairman if I had a dealer who was closer or felt good about.
As Skellman says, beware the dealer. Look around. Check the yellow pages. Talk to people you know who have one.

I've owned a D1 Diplomat for a month and we are very pleased.  I'm 6'4 and my wife is 5'4" and we both are comfortable because of the different seat heights.  The adjustable neck jet system is what sold me. I have a lot of tension in my neck and this neck jet system really helps.  We only had one problem which was a couple of jets that were hard to adjust.  A phone call to the dealer and the jets were replaced the next day (with no trip charge I might add).  Be sure to wet test the models that you like.

my sister in law owns a D1 spa.  I asked her how she liked it and she responded :   "love it."

Like most major manufacturers, they make several levels (@Home: good, Reflections: better, Bay: best).

My uncle has a D1 Californian that he has LOVED for 5 years. He is very picky about good construction and workmanship, and has no regrets about his purchase. I would have followed suit if the layout fit me better, and the dealer in my area had not permanently alienated me with bad salesmanship.

I almost bought a Dimension1 spa, the Nautilus.  I liked the look of it -- it has a nice surface texture - not plasticy, and nice little cermaic tile insets.  The spa has a very good reputation, but it is expensive.  Like the two other posters, the dealer was also the reson that I did not buy the spa.
