Bad start for Cubs fans

Kerry Woods has bruised ribs from falling out of his hot tub.  I'm not sure what brand, but I'm told his home is in East Texas.

First, I am sorry someone was injured in any form. :(  However, as a life long White Sox fan (any Sox fan hates anything to do with the Cubbies.  Similar to Yankees/Mets, Bosox/Yankees, Hatfields/McCoys) It couldn't happen to a better team.

Term, if you are the 'guilty' seller maybe you can supply the whole team with 'slip and slides'.

If it can't be the Reds, this would be my second choice.  The last year of Busch Stadium, I sat in the middle of Cardinal Season ticket holders in my Red's jersey and hat.  Great people, felt right at home.

"Bad start for Cubs fans"?

Isn't that redundant?

I was at Jr's 500th HR game at Busch.  8-)

I've probably gone to atleast 10 games a year since I was knee high. The new Busch is definetly nice but I grew up with the old Busch and was really sad when they decided to knock it down. It was such a unique stadium with all the arches around the top. I really miss it.  :( Although I think all the current players don't due to how hot it got on the feild since it was so far down in the ground. Even when you sat in Field Level seats you couldn't even feel a slight breeze, so I could only imagine how hot it was on the feild, especially in the ridiculously humid months of July and August.

I would much much much rather that Griffey Jr. broke Hank Aaron's record than We know who.

I concur.
It's a shame Jr is so injury prone. :(

BB is gettin' $16,000,000 to break it in a Giants uniform.
Do you think the owners made a fair offer?

That question is a good subject for a Master's thesis.  IMHO, as a player, yes.  As another owner, NO.  As a fan?  That's another thesis.  Personally, no way in H3LL, it's TOO much.

In real life, I'm not into conspiracy theories, but in sports thats another story.  Do you know what the odds where that the Cavilers would get the first pick and be able to take Lebron?  Or Dale Jr wins the first race back at the same track where his Dad dies?

But I would put huge money on Barry breaking Aaron's record in San Francisco? There is no way baseball will let that moment be filled with boos and throwing stuff on the field the way it would if it happens anywhere else.

I would put your money, my money, WHY NOT'S  money, and Bud Selig's money that it gets done in Frisco.  For the exact reasons you stated, wmccall.

In sports, conspiracy is spelled-con$piracy.

Because of the damage from hurricane Katrina, all the Giant's games will be played at home this year.
