Baqua?
I've seen it only after visitors have used my tub. I've alwasy thought it was Makeup, and oils. It's a nasty scum. I use a Mr Clean magic eraser to wipe it down,Don't forget to wipe behind the pilliows and into the filter area.If you've got this stuff, chances are your filters could use a wash as well.
Have you been using clarifier and shock together? That combination will create some nasty brown sludge.
Nope, I've not used any clarifier that I know of. I have used an enzyme that is suppose to elminate body oils/etc.
Is it possible that the scum is the desired result of the enyzme? (cologulate the oils and gunk so it can be trapped in the filter or wiped up? ? ? )
That is exactly what the enzyme is suppose to do. It gathers the oils and turns them into larger particles that the filter can then trap. Untreated, the oils just pass through the filter.
So is the scum line is the result of the enzyme colagulating the oils and then settleing on the water line, or you used the enzme to remove the scum? I'm confused.
I never used an enzyme and am a bit unsure how they work as opposed to a clarifier. Whats the deal? Is it possible that the scum is the desired result of the enyzme? (cologulate the oils and gunk so it can be trapped in the filter or wiped up? ? ? )
