Well folks, we did the wet test.

We placed our order and made a down payment.  4 weeks and counting.

We ended up ordering the Artesian Island Grand Cayman with 32 jets.  It's not the top of the line model, but I somehow think we'll manage.  :D

Thanks CappyKat.  Now all I need is that phone number of the folks that helped you with your patio.  My wife loves your patio (so do I, but my back and budget hurt just thinking about tackling a job that large  :D)

I'll spend the next couple of weeks working up some sore muscles building our patio.  The new tub will be needed tremendously.

Now if i can just figure out all this chemical stuff.  We got the ozonator...i'm told this helps to reduce the amount of chemicals needed.

I feel your pain (literally, even)...building the decking/patio for the tub is rough, but if you can DIY, it's WELL worth the savings, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
As far as the ozonator cutting down on the chemical amounts, from what I read, YES they do....however, don't expect that 90% drop like some sites tout....I don't know the exact amount, but every little bit helps, IMHO. I don't want to soak in heavy chemicals either...

Congrats on your purchase, and best of luck building your "perfect patio"!

Congrats TN!  I'm sure you are going to love the tub.

Great to run across another Volunteer.  I was born and raised in Chattanooga, just down the road from you.

Here is what I've done so far.   I think I might dig out the rest of the grassy area and put in a brick patio (if for no other reason than I'll reduce the amount of grass I have to mow).
