drain and refill

If a tub had bromine as a sanitizer, and you drain, refill and go to chlorine, does it matter if there was a little water left in the plumbing that had Br? How much residual water stays behind, and how do you remove it? Or do you have to?

I would try to get out more water than a regular water change - for example I would get a wet vac or use a big sponge and bucket.

But if you get all you can, you should be just fine.

the spa itself is beautifully clean. Leaves that found their way in during the move, and a little rain water and dirt have been sponged and wiped out. I assume there is still water I "cannot see" (in plumbing), but I'll not worry about it, as you said!

Filling and electrification  ;D  to occur tomorrow. The weather has not been my friend, but I did lay flagstone in the rain!!!!!
