pre-season inexpensive swimwear?
« on: March 21, 2006, 09:53:15 am »
Any ideas where might be a good place to buy swimwear PREseason at reasonable prices? I'd like to have a variety of sizes on hand, just in case company drops in without....And I'm NOT going to pay $75 per suit for ladies wear!  :o Once is enough!
I know I can get clearance suits for men late summer at Target.....
Thoughts?

Look for an outlet store.  We have a Dillards outlet store for the region  that my daughter bought $100-150 suits for $12-16

I pick up swimsuits for our mood room at Sam's Club.  The price tags say $75 but I buy them for $19.95.  Wet testers get to keep them.  They are Speedo brand.

Hmm....is there a particular reason you pay $20 instead of the posted $75, or is it one of those tags that says "Regular price: $75, OUR LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW UNBELIVEABLY LOW PRICE $19.95"?

It just has a MSRP on the tag from the manufacturer.  Suits were hanging on a rack marked 19.95.

I'll never admit I gave you these links....

Link 1

Link 2

Link 3

Link 3 is [glb]NOT for the FAINT OF HEART![/glb]...Don't Look Ethel!

I buy from e-bay all the time and have about a 20 suit collection for guests. Generally, I pay $10 or less per suit, most of which are designer labeled.  A young lady shared my tub other night wearing a suit with Mudd label she paid $135 for at a local store. I showed her the SAME suit I paid $15 for on E-bay. OOOPPPPS!

(OK, so I like to see women in designer swimwear, what can I say?)

Good Luck!

Link 3 How they hell can they get $35 for that? It's got $1.00 worth of fabric?  ::)  Not that I am complaining....too much ;)

Link 1  Change the preferences on Ebay to show lowest price first, and you'll find some decent bargins.

:o :o :o My goodness! Link 3 is for the women who've not got a lot that gravity's working against.....and they don't plan to move much, either, do they??
I'll mark those down as "Dangerous suits, not to be purchased or worn by ANYONE that's within the confines of our yard" because of the children next door.....and the hubby...I'd hate to have to smuck him over the head with a hard object to re-focus his attention.....   ;D

I DID find a "lot" of 2 suits that I'm buying though....about $16 for both, including S&H....not bad tyvm!
