Interesting decking option

Not sure if this goes here or in the other forum since it is not hot tubs specifically.

Saw an interesting decking option on of all things "Queer Eye" the other night. Something called EZYDeck modular decking system. It is tiles of a teak like wood from Australia called Jarrah. Basically the wood portion sits on a plastic framework underneath so that water would drain through. Obviously couldn't put the tub on top of it but it seems to be a nice way to cover the rest of the concrete pad that the tub will sit on under my deck.

Unfortunately it looks to be quite expensive, especially since I have about 380 sq ft to cover minus the 64 or so the tub would take up.

Anybody had any experience with it?

Hmm, I guess that would be a no? Perhaps it is relatively new. And certainly expensive!

Still, I find it an intriguing option for decking over an otherwise kinda plain concrete pad. I would think it would not be as slick or cold as tile or stone of some type.

Up here in Canada you can get it at Home depot, Rona and I saw a version of it at IKEA.  They are expensive.
