If money wasn't  an object and you could buy any spa, what would you buy and why?

We're looking at the mid size spa's 5-6 people.

Thanks for your help. :)

I'd buy the one that felt the best on my hinder and was sold to me by a salesperson that gave me straight answers, no BS, and was willing to "go the extra mile". Oh yeah....and wasn't a flying piece of crap....I've only dry tested ONE brand of tub, and that is Great Lakes. The Penta (5 person, $5400) that they've got is VERY comfortable dry....wet, I'd imagine it to be nice, too....if I hadn't got the bigger one with a second neck massage unit on it for about $500 more than the smaller tub (one I got is an '05 and was a demo at the store) was new.....I'd have jumped on it...I believe the '05s had volcano jet and turbo, both of which are GONE in '06 if I remember right?

Thanks, yes my second stop at a local dealer wasn't a good one, the sales person was a A@#...

I'm hoping to find the perfect fit for my family and me.

If money was no object I'd buy the Artesian Piper Glen.

I would also consider the D1 Bay series. Didn't see too much more that made me say WOW. Of course there were some brands that I didn't see so my list of 2 might change.

I did buy the Artesian Grand Cayman and am very happy with it.

the Maxxus is a great spa, the coleman 705/706 is a lot of spa for the money and if your willing to wait a few weeks you should check out the jacuzzi 400 series, like nothing else out there.  was unveiled at the aqua show in nov and should be out by march.  if price were no object I would definitely check it out.

Money actually is an issue for us, but I figured we'd best do it right the first time so we wouldn't have any regrets.  The Maxxus is a great spa with LOTS of room to stretch out.  Don't get me wrong, there are many other great spas, and I recognize that.  This one works great for my family.  Often just me in it; never too big...

I'd do a custom made job, if I had unlimited funds...but I assume we're talking "off the shelf" ?

I'd personaly take a second look at the Aquatic series tubs from D-1. These are  the huge workout/lap tubs that feature a hydrothethreapy section.  I didn't even consider something like this when I was looking (way out of my set budget), but if money was no object?  sure!

As other have said, the maxius has always caught my eye too.

However, being more realistic, I'd probably get a larger tub that fit me well,  and allowed for a lot of friends to be entertained,  and  spend the money on decking,  outdoor fileplace,  landscaping, etc  rather than bells and whistles  and sheer jet/HP.   ;)

I gotta go with Hot Springs, but that being said, if you do not have a HS dealer near you, or if you did not like the dealer, go with the brand being sold by the dealer you believe gave you the straight scoop, AND you think will giveyou the best service AFTER the sale.

I originally was looking at the swim spa, but figured for the 20k, I might as well pony up the extra 20k and get the pool/spa and screen enclosure.  I am not sure how good the spa part is but would bet it's good for that price.

If Money was no object, I would keep the same spa I have now, but hire the Johnson sisters (3rd and Skip from the US Women's curling team) to take care of the tub for me.

They make Tammy look Trashy.

Any spa, located close to the beach on an island in the South Pacific, with the Johnson sisters bringing me rum punch in their bikinis.
