Vibration problem
« on: February 15, 2006, 10:13:38 pm »
My tub sits on a wood deck and it's very adequately supported with several 4x6's on 12" centers and 2x6's on top, all pressure-treated wood.  The problem I'm having is vibration all through the 600-sq ft deck.  I'm wondering if anyone, especially the dealers, has experience with dealing with this issue.

A friend suggested a mat like what you see at the gym.  I looked into it and they're either 1/2" or 3/4" thick, costing about $50 for a 4x6' sheet.  I wonder how well that would hold up (pardon the pun ;D) under the weight of the tub and also outdoors.
