I just didn't care for the songs on it.  They didn't have a good beat and I couldn't dance to them.

Terminator

However, the love scene between the Master Spa salesman and the house wife was excellent, although a bit  risque.

The bukkake scene  blew me away.  :o

I got the DVD in the mail a couple weeks after wet testing. I thought it was pompous and eliteist.

They're obviously after rich folk who have a "the more expensive it is, the better it is" attitude. As a consumer advocate it was a big turnoff. I believe they make a good quality spa but they sure don't try to sell it on it's merits from what I saw.

Had I seen the DVD beforehand, I might have been hesitant to even wet test it.

If you're assuming that I was assuming that no one knows what I was refering to, then your assumption is incorrect.

I had to look twice when I first saw it and can only assume the narrator figured it was some meaningless foreign word.

Iam confused on where this is going.

IF my Bukkake refernce offended anyone, well that wasn't my intention. I  suggest that anyone who was,  try to deal with it as best as possible and somehow persevere.

I thought it was pretty funny to  allude that the MAsterSPa DVD included a sex scene.

But then again, I  crack myself up all the time. I am easly entertained.

Even a steamy sex scene could not help this advertising nightmare. The "Take the Spa Challenge" is so contrived and completely idiotic that a gratuitous sex scene would not help. This DVD is a pathetic and lazy attempt to be helpful to a potential consumer.

True. It would not hurt. I am afraid who they would cast. It might not be quality.

I always thought that the Thermospa video, at the begining, seemed like the start of a cheap 1980's porno.
Yes, I was in the navy, and we did have movie nights at sea , back then, projected on to a bed sheet hanging on the bulkhead. (wall, for you land lubers)

You have stated your opinion of the DVD well.....there's no mistaking your distaste for it, which is fine by me.  I don't know if I'd like it or not.....and don't really care one way or the other.  With that said, I still have not read any responses by you regarding blatant misrepresentations, or, in your words, "...absolutely criminal..." and "...very misleading and misguides consumers greatly..." that you earlier claimed.  Or shall we just figure that you dislike it and leave it at that?

WindSurfDog, I recommend going to there website and ordering the dvd for yourself. It is free. Take note of the "Take the Spa Challenge" portion of the DVD.  It will be on the final third of the DVD. I hope you have a great holiday!

graham,

I'm not really interested in their advertising......free or otherwise.  I'm just interested in your comments about their advertising.  Seems that if you have no problems bashing them in general, subjective terms that you would have no problems backing up your comments with some objectivity.  Claims of "criminal", "misguides" and "misleading" should be backed with objective proof or, as I said earlier, let's just figure you don't like their advertising and be done with it.......that there is no criminal, misleading or misguided comments.  Either way is fine by me.

And the best of Holidays to you as well.

I don't think what Graham said was unacceptable except the use of the word "criminal". I think we all know he didn't mean it literally but it was a poor word choice nonetheless. I think I may need to get a copy of that so I can see for myself if I feel it's misguided and misleading IMO. Maybe I can have it sent to my neighbor so he gets the follow up phone calls. ;D
