j385 went kaput!!!
« on: November 13, 2005, 10:16:41 pm »
me and the family were enjoying our tubbin..and all of a sudden, the tub shuts off.  tub has been in use for about a month..no problems.

checked the main breaker, then the panel breaker.  reset all and still no power to the tub.  Very WEIRD.  Anyone have any experiences like this?

Spoke with the Electrician and he is coming back...but WEIRD>..

If you don't have power at the end of your wire run, where it connects to the spa, then I'd suspect a bad connection between your man panel and the spa.  That could be anywhere a wire is attached, including your tap breaker, the main panel, the spa panel, and your GFI.  It's also possible that one of your breakers is faulty, or you have a bad wire, which is probably a long shot.
Let us know what it turns out to be.

there isnt much that could be wrong witht the wires and connections if this was done by someone knowledgable in electrical work. maybee a bad or tripped breaker? i would hire another company if there is a bad connection, that i think would be unacceptable with so few connections. r
