Again, I would like to thank all of the pros for the great advice.  I'm not much concerned about the lifetime warranty now because we have decided to go with either the Hot Spring or Jacuzzi spa.

The electric quote was for 110 feet above ground, they just run the wire from our main box to a junction box then to the spa through gray flexible tubing that will run along the house.  They said we could bury the line later if “we” wanted to.  I was hoping for a price closer to $500.00.  I’ve called a few other electricians for quotes and hoping they will be less expensive.

This spa stuff is NOT cheap!!!

I don't get involved too much on electrical quoting but $850 sounds maybe a bit on the high side for 110' electrical all above ground. I'd get a second quote but in the grand scheme of things I'd rather see you pay a little extra to someone who knows what the're doing as opposed to saving $100 and going with someone without experieince.

I should finally be getting 2 quotes tomorrow.  One guy told me the lowest quote he's ever given was $1100 and one quote he gave yesterday was $1600.    This is even a friend, so I'm a bit concerned!  Hopefully my other friend will be cheeper.  My entire decision is waiting on my wiring bid at this point.  UGH!

I had a 110 foot above ground run and my cost was $825 including GFCI box.

Lifetime in all States means lifetime.  In some States (California) when the lifetime warranty is pro-rated it must be no less then 7 years at 100%.  This is how most people come up with the 7 year thing.  A lifetime warranty when designated with a date must be at least 7 years or more at 100%.  I was told his first came up with D-1 when they came out with the lifetime shell warranty.  It was pro-rated starting at 5 years 100% and they had to change it to 7 years.

I do believe Cal's lifetime is not pro-rated - therefore it is Lifetime.
