and the tub felt good! Moved the temp up to 103 for the first time and not too bad when its cool out. The only problem I encountered is that my ears were getting cold. So what do you do, wear a hat?

I think thats what I'm going to try. I though with all the steam coming up that a person would stay warm on top (ya I'm getting a little thin on top too). Winter is going to be a test for us and we will make the decision whether to enclose the tub next spring.

We just tough it out. Usually you can find a way to sit if the cold is bothering you. Scootch down a bit in the seat, or try sitting back to the wind.

Up here in Winnipeg, the wife and I have our tub touques - they are absolutely essential in the wintertime!

Yep, touques are an essential part of hot tubbing in the frozen wasteland of northern Canada!

We've got low's of 23 degrees this week.

Yesterday was beautiful and I spent most of the day in the yard, cutting the grass, cleaning out the flower beds, getting everything ready for winter. This time last year we were already shoveling so I'm a happy camper!

I'm freezing down here in Texas. It was 39* this morning! That just ain't right.

On a bright note, I accidentally left one of the spas on my deck open yesterday. When I pulled up to the store this morning, there was a lot of steam wafting up from the spa (a Vista). It's a pretty good sales tool to open up all 5 spas and get the steam flowing out. It really acts as a good lure when people drive by and see that. Looks like the deck's on fire!

It's pronuced "two ooks" and was made famous in the 80;s by the Mckenzi brothers of the Great White North and Second City Telivison Fame.

Touques are knitted hats. do a google image search and be enlightened.
