The deck is almost done, and the electrician is coming by tomorrow. With highs expected in the 60's and lows expected in the 40's tomorrow nights soak should be awesome. Deck still needs stairs and some bench seating which should be done by Tuesday. After that I want to put in some low voltage lighting. Any one know of good web sites to visit for information on low voltage lights?

that looks great. I was going to build a pergola, but opted not to with the concrete patio. It looks really nice with the wooden deck.

Beautiful job, all the hard work will be rewarded in your first soak looking up at the starts.

Actually the deck and railing are Choicedek composite. The pergola and the framing are pressure treated wood. It does actually look like wood in the pictures. I'm very pleased with how it came out

I do like the composite wood and it's great not mucking around in the mud!

As far as low voltage lights, I am probably buying lights on-line from backyard america. They seem to have good pricing on the post lights we want. you can also try rockler, they seemed to have a nice selection.

These are the lights I used on my deck. I put the on each side of the steps as well on each corner of the deck. They also make caps to match that arent lighted. At night it gives enough light to cover the deck but not enought to give you a sun tan. I have had several complimnets from my neighbors about them. You need to look across the deck to the opening to see them.
