enter the ozoneor not-hot springs tub
« on: October 21, 2005, 09:08:48 pm »
I am about to take possession of a new HS Grandee and wonder about the Ozone system.  I know it is an add-on, and at this point I haven't added it on.

Could you experts give me the pros and cons of adding it on....does it take lots of maintenance, any hidden costs and also a rough estimate of what I can expect to pay.

My dealer is laid back and did not push this on me, but I wonder if it may be for me...

thanks.

I'd get it.  It will reduce the ppm of chlorine or bromine necessary to adequately sanitize the water.

There is very little maintenance.  Most CD systems state that contacts require occasional cleaning, but I'm not sure anyone ever does.
