Not ever hearing of the "riptide" brand I have no idea whether they use a flow switch or pressure switch but with the info given I would have to guess your problem is with which ever you have.....
If it is a pressure switch you might be able to bypass it and test it.
thanks fo rall your ideas. Come to find out that i ended up having a bad low gear in circulation pump.
Since it was a bad low gear it was turning on but never circulated the water which inturn cause the LF which inturn caused the over heating or the cooling of the water.
So now i am waiting for the new pump to arrive so it can be changed out. I pray this fixes all my headaches
