Purchasing Hot tub

We are looking at purchasing the EX 9000 Islander spa with Ozone for $7500.  It has closed cell full foam insulation.  We live in North Dakota so the winters are cold.  We had on old (25 years old) 2 seater spa that had very little insulation and it cost us $50 per month to heat during the winter.  Do you think the price is fair?  Is closed cell full foam insulation the way to go?  Is it worth having the foot dome?

Any other suggestions or comments welcome.

A picture of the ES 9000 is on the attached link.

I'm not familliar with that tub, but you asked about the foot dome.

Wet test,  of course and decide for youself, of course.  ;)

However,  if you do not get a tub with a lounger, I'd pay attention to how the tub gets the feet and calfs.  My tub has a dome and I can float my legs out over the dome to get an ok massage, as well as get the soles of my feet, and ankles. Since the dome is in the middle, you can use the dome from any postion in the tub.  So for me, it was a plus.

Wet test both styles and see for youself what you prefer.  :)
