I was talking to my bros friend he has a coast spa and is really bragging about how his tub has a 7hp pump and nobody elses tubs do that was also brought up quite a bit by  the dealer as well  

Y is that  anybody got an answer on this  would be appreciated

Hey Pathfinder

As a relative newbie to hottubbing as well (one-year) all I can say is to search this site extensively for answers to your question. There are alot of pros on this forum who have gone through all the debates at one point of time or another. Sometimes this becomes so exhausting that they (natually) become hesitant on re-engaging the arguement.

From my standpoint, I would look into the HP pump argument a little futher, and you will quickly see that there is more than one way to measure quality. You may also learn that this (HP) is often used as a sales tactic to draw in those who do not recognize the difference.
