Was it great?

My sister in law, who lurks here, finally bought her tub, it was delivered Friday, her electrician finished the job this afternoon, and we had water in it around 6:30 pm tonight.  When we left her house around 10:30 it was up to 92 degrees. I figure by 11 it should top 100, and she will be having her first soak.

Karen,
Tell us more.

What model did you get?
Did you shop around?
Did you wet test?
Does Bill tell people he pretty much runs the spa industry?
Does Bill still wear an electronic ankle bracelet?
220, 221, whatever it takes!

She ended up with a Dynasty Exacalibur 3000 (I have a 4000 model)  And my influcence was less than you might have thought.  She has been comfortable in our spa and knew how much we liked it.  She was close to signing a deal with Royal Spas out of Indianapolis at the Ohio State Fair.  She told me Royal is in negotiation to move into Columbus in the building formerly operated by my now defunct Dynasty dealer.   She had pretty much a deal ready to go, but she asked for it in writing while she continued to look around at the Fair.  The lady wouldn't put anything in writing saying "You could change that when you leave here."  Calling a person a potential liar, there is the way to close the sale.  I remember looking at their setup and not seeing anything really impressive.
This is their site http://www.royalspa.com/ Maybe Wisoki is familiar with them.

She ended up buying the used Dynasty for what I consider a fair price from a private individual.  It was dry and unused in the guys back yard, but he was nice enough to fill it, heat it and invite them over and they loved it.

She contracted with a guy, who calls him some variation of Spadoctor to move the tub for her.   They had a mutual friend do the wiring Saturday and the job looked good.  I talk to Karen this morning and she didn't stay awake till Midnight, but had her first soak at 5am today.

This is the model she bought, but hers came in Monscape color
