High Tub Temps
« on: August 04, 2005, 02:48:46 pm »
It has been a very hot summer in WesterN PA.  Lately my hot tub has been reaching temps of 105-107.  Usually we set the tub at 104 but recently have been backing down on the temp settings.  It is normal for the tub to reach temps of 105-107 during hot weather or do I have a malfunctioning thermostat?

It's normal during August for the spa to run extremely hot.  I wouldn't worry about the thermostat unless it is still running that hot in October.

Prop the cover open with some tennis balls or other soft items and let it stay that way overnight. Your tub should be back at usable temps by morning.
