Majesta and deck extension are done.

  Well last weekend I had a four day week from Friday to Monday so I got at the extension of the existing deck to enclose the hot tub. I needed it all. Took the pic after finishing Monday night. The new deck is completely removable which when you're just a homeowner that tinkers, adds time to the design and materials. But I can get at any and all sides of the tub for service. It will take a few years but the colour will match the existing deck after I clean and weatherproof it a few times. Wish everyone I know hadn't gone away for the weekend as a little help, besides my lovely wife, would have helped. Almost got tired of being around the dang thing, but a quick shower, a large rusty nail and listening to whatever I pleased made it better each night.

 And the tub is working great after one week. So far PH and all those other levels are checking out. Had a little foaming and slight milkiness to the water but were guessing it was soap on suits. Did the weekly SpaLite treatment and things are pretty clear.

  And he's a pretty good dog for a mutt. He didn't like it when we were in the tub before I put the deck in, previous picture in this album. To see us he would have to get up on the step stool we used to get in. Now that the deck's in he can just walk over and look to see us and then assume his guard dog position.
